Bio
Doug Jacobson is a member of the Washington, DC office of the law firm of Sander, Travis & Rosenberg and serves as chairperson of the firm’s export controls and sanctions practice. Doug has nearly 20 years of experience representing companies on a wide range of international trade issues. He regularly counsels a wide range of companies on compliance with U.S. and multilateral regimes governing the export of dual-use items, software, technology, defense articles and humanitarian products, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the various sanctions regulations administered by the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). He also has extensive experience with the U.S. antiboycott regulations and the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
